Customer Service and Work

Customer service at work has always been my top priority. Without customers you have no work. Without good listening skills and  and open mind you cannot hear what a person is saying. Attentive, and groomed for a job makes an employee stand out in a business that relies on customer contact on a day to day basis. It is so important to write down what a customer says to you if they are venting and discusted with how something was done on a customers order. This way you can go back to management and explain exactly what the customer is talking in reference about.I find when I am out and shopping that there are good customer service people and then there are really bad ones.

Laziness and leaning on a counter is ok, until a customer comes up to talk to you, then you put on a smile and direct your eyes into this person and find out their needs and wants.Stand straight up and arch your shoulders back and let the customer voice what is on their mind. It may not be what you want to hear and yet do not let down, keep smiling and greet the customer as Sir or Miss are very important.
Make sure you take a shower each day and be presentable and smell good , because you will be interacting with several people in a day. Do not put on too much perfume or cologne as this can be just as bad as having body odor to another person. Keep it light on the nose and keep your self sparkling for the customer and be attentive. This is for customer retention and you probably will have a survey about you sent to this customer and this might have a bearing on your position with the company you may work for.

Update to Christopher F Hyer Resume January 2016

I wanted to update the fact that I do have a Franchise that I run Part Time out of my house. It has not hardly any money, but however it is part of my income.
I also have stated studying for my A+ Certification for use as a IT Help desk position with a multitude of companies.
My traits are varied , but they should show that I am a versatile man that has many strengths and attributes to an organization. I have discipline in self studying for what I want to get out of life. Customer Service is associated with everything that I do and I excel in this area.In Midland, Texas there are not a lot of opportunities for a person without oil and gas experience. This has made it difficult to obtain a good regular full time job.

However I remain optimistic that my path will change soon, and I will be on my way to a better future with your company and will dress the part that you want to be represented with.

I believe that customer service has been thrown out the door with electronics taking over most of our lives, but in reality customer service is a high priority You have to have etiquette even with email and chat in the business world. You will still need to go before groups of people and prove your self in matters of business and being courteous is a strong attribute I carry as with dressing the part of the role you play in a job is very important and keeping oneself groomed. These are most needed to achieve a good work balance within a corporation or a small business.

This blog is basically for those who have an interest in who I am and what I do. I plan to update this on occasion to keep it up to date.My present condition in my work is varied as I have a few online stores that I generate a nice living from. I have learned SEO the hard way, and from years of trial and error.I have spent quite a sum of money in self-training myself to make a living online and in the real world. All the information to accomplish the task that I know and some of my work is online. The only part of my behavior that is not online is my personality. I am a happy person that lives in a place where oil dominates the area, however there are other opportunities as well. I am teaching myself to be a Comptia A+ certified IT technician now, as I have the experience and the knowledge but without this diploma ,I am limited in the workplace for people wanting to hire in IT without this. I train myself and work independently most of my life with success. This is just an obstacle that I want to complete on my Resume so I can finish my years in this direction of work.

I am completely fine without having anymore certifications, as my online stores provide me with a substantial living, however I like working around and with people also.Therefor as an IT Technician I can accomplish my dream position and move ahead to further destinations I have not traveled yet. I have trained myself in all aspects of networking and and computer related issues . I have a solid background on hardware and software and how they operate and some programming experience.However most companies want a certificate of completion to prove this type of work I have done. Therefor I have set out to achieve this in the next 60 days I will be certified and move along a different path with the workplace.

I have many hobbies and enjoy my music, recording, oil painting, photography , and love of nature and life. I enjoy people , they amuse me and I try to amuse them. I have a positive attitude towards the future of myself and my family and I don't look back in anger of my mistakes, I just learn from them. Most of my employment has been technical in nature and I enjoy troubleshooting something I have no idea about. I learn when this case comes up.I never stop learning and I strive for this in my daily living. Always working on gaining more knowledge about people through books and going out and meeting others and communicating among those whom I find interesting.

A typical day for Christopher is checking my inventory for my online stores and importing from China. I also work with land based wholesalers for products to sell.I do SEO work all the time and I have joined up with certain charity groups in the local area to donate some of my spare time.I am always busy doing something constructive and enjoy the criticism I get about my music and art work.

This blog is basically for those that may seek such a person as myself in their work environment as I would like to also have a job in the real world ,beside the virtual one I have established. I am a hard working yet , I know when to ease up to take a joke and give a few myself. If you may have an interest in whom I am and what I can do for your company let me know. If it is internet related, I can show you some of my work. However I am looking for more outside work than I am inside the home.

There are many good people in the world and I like to be around people. My online store practically run themselves the way I have them set up.
